DAY 1

The Dua of Distress

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
Transliteration

La ilaha illallahul Azeemul Haleem. La ilaha illallahu Rabbul Arshil Azeem. La ilaha illallahu Rabbus samawati wa Rabbul ardi wa Rabbul Arshil Kareem.

Translation

"There is no god but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne."

DAY 2

Comprehensive Forgiveness

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ، دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Transliteration

Allahumma ighfir li dhambi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa alaniyatahu wa sirrahu.

Translation

"O Allah, forgive me all my sins — the small and the great, the first and the last, the public and the private."

DAY 3

The Turner of Hearts

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Transliteration

Ya Muqallibal qulub, thabbit qalbi ala dinik.

Translation

"O Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion."

DAY 4

Total Protection

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي شَرَّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ نَاصِيَتُهُ بِيَدِكَ
Transliteration

Allahumma ikfini sharra kulli dhi sharrin nasiyatuhu biyadik.

Translation

"O Allah, protect me from the evil of every evil one whose forelock is in Your hand."

DAY 5 & 6

Dua Al-Qunoot (The Complete Supplication)

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ
Transliteration

Allāhumma ihdinī fī man hadayt, wa 'āfinī fī man 'āfayt, wa tawallanī fī man tawallayt, wa bārik lī fī mā a'ṭayt, wa qinī sharra mā qaḍayt, fa innaka taqḍī wa lā yuqḍā 'alayk, wa innahu lā yadhillu man wālayt, tabārakta Rabbanā wa ta'ālayt.

Translation

"O Allah, guide me among those You have guided. Grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being. Take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care. Bless me in what You have given me. And protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For indeed You decree and none can decree over You. Indeed, he whom You take as a friend is not humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted."

DAY 7

Refuge from Six Diseases

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika min al-'ajz, wal-kasal, wal-jubn, wal-bukhl, wal-haram, wa 'adhāb al-qabr.

Translation

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, senility, and the punishment of the grave."

DAY 8

Tazkiyah (Soul Purification)

اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا
Transliteration

Allāhumma āti nafsī taqwāhā, wa zakkihā Anta khayru man zakkāhā, Anta waliyyuhā wa mawlāhā.

Translation

"O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa (piety), and purify it — You are the best of those who purify it. You are its Protector and its Master."

DAY 9

Four Spiritual Catastrophes

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿilmin lā yanfaʿ, wa min qalbin lā yakhshaʿ, wa min nafsin lā tashbaʿ, wa min daʿwatin lā yustajābu lahā.

Translation

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered."

DAY 10

Protection When Leaving Home

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ
Transliteration

Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika an adhilla aw udhalla aw azilla aw uzalla aw azlima aw uzlama aw ajhala aw yujhala 'alayya.

Translation

"In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from straying or being led astray, from slipping or being made to slip, from wronging others or being wronged."

DAY 11

The Short Plea for Help

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
Transliteration

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi rahmatika astaghith.

Translation

"O Ever-Living, O Sustainer of All, by Your mercy I seek help."

DAY 12

Total Rectification

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Transliteration

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi rahmatika astaghith. Aslih li sha'ni kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata 'ayn.

Translation

"O Ever-Living, O Sustainer of All, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify all my affairs for me. And do not entrust me to myself even for the blink of an eye."

DAY 13

The Greatest Name

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi-annī ashhadu annaka Anta-Allāh, lā ilāha illā Ant, Al-Aḥad-uṣ-Ṣamad, alladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad.

Translation

"O Allah, indeed I ask You by my testifying that You are Allah — there is no god but You — the One, the Self-Sufficient Master."

DAY 14

The Battlefield Dua

اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ، وَمُجْرِيَ السَّحَابِ، وَهَازِمَ الْأَحْزَابِ، اهْزِمْهُمْ وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ
Transliteration

Allāhumma Munzila al-Kitāb, wa Mujriya as-Saḥāb, wa Hāzima al-Aḥzāb — Ihzimhum wa-nṣurnā 'alayhim.

Translation

"O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Mover of the Clouds, Defeater of the Confederates — Defeat them and grant us victory over them."

DAY 15

The Universal Shield

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Transliteration

A'ūdhu bi-kalimāti-llāhi at-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.

Translation

"I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created."

DAY 16

Laylatul Qadr Forgiveness

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Transliteration

Allahumma innaka ‘Afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘annee.

Translation

"O Allah, You are Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me."

DAY 17

The Four-Word Life

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as'aluka al-hudā, wat-tuqā, wal-'afāf, wal-ghinā.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for guidance, God-consciousness, chastity, and self-sufficiency."

DAY 18

Comprehensive Goodness

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as’aluka minal-khayri kullih, ‘ājilihī wa ājilih, mā ‘alimtu minhu wa mā lam a‘lam. Wa a‘ūdhu bika minash-sharri kullih, ‘ājilihī wa ājilih, mā ‘alimtu minhu wa mā lam a‘lam.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for all the good, both now and in the future, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from all evil, both now and in the future, what I know of it and what I do not know."

DAY 19

Seeking Bounty and Mercy

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as'aluka min faḍlika wa raḥmatik, fa innahu lā yamlikuhā illā Ant.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty and Your mercy, for none possesses them except You."

DAY 20

The Three Essentials

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as'aluka 'ilman nāfi'an, wa rizqan ṭayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds."

DAY 21

Paradise and Pleasure

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَSْأَلُكَ رِضَاكَ وَالْجَنَّةَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَالنَّارِ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as'aluka riḍāka wal-jannah, wa a'ūdhu bika min sakhaṭika wan-nār.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for Your pleasure and for Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from Your displeasure and from the Hellfire."

DAY 22

Sayyid Al-Istighfar (Part 1)

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
Transliteration

Allāhumma Anta Rabbī, lā ilāha illā Ant, khalaqtanī wa ana 'abduk, wa ana 'alā 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastaṭa't

Translation

"O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I am faithful to my covenant and promise to You."

DAY 23

Sayyid Al-Istighfar (Part 2)

أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Transliteration

a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣana't, abū'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya, wa abū'u bi dhanbī, faghfir lī fa innahu lā yaghfiru adh-dhunūba illā Ant.

Translation

"I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me."

DAY 24

Sin, Abode, and Provision

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي
Transliteration

Allāhumma ighfir lī dhanbī, wa wassi' lī fī dārī, wa bārik lī fī rizqī.

Translation

"O Allah, forgive me my sin, make spacious for me my abode, and bless for me my provision."

DAY 25

The Salah Anchor (Humility)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī zhalamtu nafsī zhulman kathīrā, wa lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā Ant, faghfir lī maghfiratan min ‘indik, warḥamnī.

Translation

"O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and no one forgives sins except You. So grant me forgiveness and have mercy on me."

DAY 26

Comprehensive Well-Being (Afiyah)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Transliteration

Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-‘afwa wal-‘āfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being (Al-'Afiyah) in this world and the Hereafter."

DAY 27

Dua for Divine Light (Nur)

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ أَمَامِي نُورًا. اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي نُورًا
Transliteration

Allāhumma-j‘al fī qalbī nūran, wa fī lisānī nūran, wa-j‘al fī sam‘ī nūran, wa-j‘al fī baṣarī nūran, wa-j‘al min khalfī nūran, wa min amāmī nūran. Allāhumma a‘ṭinī nūran.

Translation

"O Allah, place light in my heart, and in my tongue light, and place in my hearing light, and in my sight light, and place behind me light. O Allah, grant me light."

DAY 28

Dua for Allah’s Love

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَSْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ
Transliteration

Allahumma innee as’aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wal-‘amalalladhee yuballighunee hubbak.

Translation

"O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and deeds that will bring me closer to Your love."

DAY 29

Protection from Moral Collapse

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُنْكَرَاتِ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَالْعَمَالِ وَالْأَهْوَاءِ
Transliteration

Allahumma innee a‘oodhu bika min munkaraatil-akhlaaq, wal-a‘maali wal-ahwaa’.

Translation

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil character, evil deeds, and evil desires."

DAY 30

Closing Ramadan Dua

اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا صِيَامَنَا وَقِيَامَنَا وَرُكُوعَنَا وَسُجُودَنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْتَقِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ هَذَا آخِرَ عَهْدِنَا بِرَمَضَانَ
Transliteration

Allahumma taqabbal minnaa siyaamanaa wa qiyaamanaa, wa rukoo‘anaa wa sujoodanaa, waj‘alnaa minal-mu‘taqeena minan-Naar, wa laa taj‘al haadha aakhira ‘ahdinaa bi-Ramadaan.

Translation

"O Allah, accept our fasting, our standing in prayer, our bowing and prostration. Make us among those freed from the Fire, and do not make this our last Ramadan."
